1, Pre wearing inspection

Appearance and accessory inspection

Confirm that the surface of the jumpsuit is free from damage, carbonization, or loose threads, with a focus on inspecting areas prone to wear such as seams, knees, elbows, etc;

Check if the zippers and fasteners are flexible, if the neck and wrist guards are secure, and if the reflective strips and windows are clear and not detached.

Functional verification

If it needs to be used in conjunction with a respirator, confirm the sealing of the respirator and clothing interface in advance to avoid the intrusion of high-temperature gases or sparks;

Fireproof boots should completely cover the pants legs, and it is forbidden to expose the ankles or boots to prevent molten materials from splashing in.

2, Standardize the wearing process

Wearing order

Wear fire-resistant pants and boots first, fasten the straps and waistband, and ensure that the pants cover the boot shaft; Wear the jumpsuit jacket again, tighten the fireproof rope and fasten the front door buckle;

Finally, wear a hood and gloves, adjust the helmet strap to fit the face, and tie the gloves tightly inside the cuffs.

Sealing treatment

The zipper should be pulled to the top, and the connection between the hood and the top, as well as the junction between the cuffs and gloves, should be double fixed to avoid skin exposure;

The waistband should overlap with the hem of the top by at least 10cm to prevent flames from entering from the waist.

3, Safety protection during use

Operation restrictions

The upper limit of temperature tolerance for the design of fire escape clothing is 833 ℃, and the single use time should not exceed 30 seconds. Long term exposure to open flames is prohibited;

Avoid direct contact with molten metal or highly corrosive substances, and use insulation blankets or water guns for cooling protection.

Abnormal response

If there is smoke, hardening or odor on the surface of the clothing, immediately evacuate the scene and replace the equipment;

If the wearer experiences dizziness, difficulty breathing, or other discomfort, quickly remove the jumpsuit and check for the infiltration of high-temperature gases inside.

4, Post use maintenance and storage

Cleaning and drying

Use a soft bristled brush dipped in neutral detergent to clean stains locally, and avoid scratching with strong acids, alkalis, or hard objects to avoid damaging the flame retardant coating;

Natural hanging and drying in the shade, avoiding high temperature drying or direct sunlight to prevent material brittleness.

Storage requirements

Store in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid mold growth or rusting of metal parts caused by moisture;

Regularly check the inventory of unopened clothing to ensure stable performance within the shelf life (such as fire extinguishing protective clothing with a shelf life of 5 years).

Following the above process can maximize the protection effectiveness and wearer safety of fireproof jumpsuits, avoiding protection failure caused by operational errors
